Christopher, thank you for your reply. Actually, Frances Tallon at the Meath County Library in Navan sent me a detailed map of the area awhile back. This property is apparently a couple of kilometers or less from Navan on the road you mentioned. I look forward to going there in thenext couple of years.
This property was in the family from as early as the fifteenth century (possibly earlier) until it was forfeited at the end of the 16th century. It appears that when that happened some family members converted to the Church of Ireland, and some left the country.
That is the focus of my research at present, i.e., 1640-1700, but a hard period to ducument. Again thank you for your reply, Ed Crump in Louisiana, US
