I am searching for the fate of Paul Theodore Spranger b. c1872 and his daughter Pauline Theodora Spranger b. 1909.
Paul Spranger was a German subject working as a waiter and living in St George in the East, London in 1891 and 1901. In 1908 he married Eliza Emma Fisher (known as Emma)b. 1886. In 1909 they had daughter Pauline and were living in Hornsey by 1911.
I have Paul and Emma's marriage certificate and birth certificate for Pauline. The family story is that Paul was interned during WW1.
The suggestion is that they could have been sent to the Isle of Man.I also understand that alien internees were deported at the end of the war.Where can I get some information?
Eliza Emma Fisher's family had moved from Swindon to Gloucester around 1901 and that is where she was living when she died in 1976.
There is no record of what became of her husband and daughter in England or Wales. I can find no deaths or marriages and they do not appear on the passengers leaving England on FindMyPast.
