I know that this Catholic family lived in a small farming village/town. They were moved our by the Russians during World War 2 so were possibly in Western Poland. They were moved to Siberia, then Uzbekistan and then Kenya before coming to England.
Szymon - born 4th October 1899 in Poland - died on 7th January 1981 in Bristol - believe that he was the sherrif of the town - did join the army and was in Pakistan for a while
Wife - Josefa (Jezefa) born 1896 - died 7th March 1956 in Bristol
Children Katarzyna Jezefa Stepniewska - born 17th December 1930 in Poland - died 6th August 1979 in Taunton - married Michael Sims
Leokadia Stepniewska - no dates but was born in Poland - was a nurse - married Antoni Pazskowski in 1949
Apolinia Stepniewska - no dates but was born in Poland
Helena - born in Poland - joined the army I believe and served in Pakistan
Jesefa, Leokadia and Apolinia came to Liverpool on the ship Scythnia on the 15th August 1948. It says it came from Kilindini which is in Mombassa, Kenya.
