I am trying to find out about a relative of mine, Lt Commander Kenneth Warden Stewart. Kenneth was born in London in 1895. He joined the RN as a young boy and in 1927 left the navy for Kenya, altho heseems to have landed up in Tanganika as it was then called. His daughter Davida (nicknamed Bunny) was born in Tanganika. At the start of WW2 he rejoined the navy and spent some time at the naval base in Dar-es-Salaam. He was then transferred to the UK and later a naval base at Durban. In 1945/6 he returned to Kenya and there are records of him at various polling areas in the Kenya Gazette. His wife was called Helen. I have no information about her.According to a familystory Kenneth died in Kenya in the 1960s.
I would like to find out about their life there as well as if they had any family other than Davida, (maried name was 'Bunny' Shaw). If anyone could help, I would be very grateful.
