The origin of Al Mashta, as I heard 20 years ago is from Lebanon.
In the Begining 3 Family came and setteled their.
Al Sous, Agi and Sarkis.
After that Al Helou Familly arrived with big numbers.
Al Mashta is divided by the source (Al Nabeh).
On the left of the source most of Al Sous family lived, on the Right is Agi, Down near Al Khoury Cafe now is Sarkis.
Al Sous Family, changed their names, to many, Fadda, Haddad, Zakhour, Zaczac...etc..
The people of Al Mashta knows immigrations, long time ago. Cause the Village does not have agriculture resource, they worked in commerce, most of them educated, and they like and do Politics.
1966, to today, tourism changed Al Mashta.
Today the village is an important touristique village.
But many of us, are out, In Germany, Greece, USA, Brazil, Venezuela, etc..
Our characteristics are, usualy good people, generous, and like their origins.
I give you again the site address, is working. And your email is not working
