I'm looking for any information on George BERRICK/BARRICK/BARACH and his wife, Angeline LAHOOD who came to the US around 1900.
They first settled in Utica, NY. Then moved to Canada, then to Georgia, and finally to Pittsburgh, PA.
There were 14 children including Elizabeth, John, and Mary. John was my grandfather.
Angela LAHOOD was supposed to be from Hardine, George from Tureen (spelling is phonetic only and my best guess at that).
George's name was originally something like ZHIDIS and Angela's was something like NAZHIBA (again, best guess).
Angela supposedly had one brother, Joseph LAHOOD, who also settled in Pittsburgh. I've found info on him already.
George had a sister, Mary, a brother Joseph (who owned a plantation in Georgia), and Anne (who settled in Cuba).
I found a George and Angela BARACH in 1920 Census in Pittsburgh, but I'm not sure yet if it is them. I have not found anything in the Ellis Island database even though I'm told that they came in through Ellis Island.
