Hello !
I'm looking for information on Joseph Zogheb, born in Damascus and who lived in Alexandria, Egypt. He was named Counsul General of Mexico in Alexandria by Emperor Maximilian in 1866 and by his request, according to official documents, he became Mexican citizen 1866 with his family (he probably lost this nationality later). His wife received a decoration from the Emperor. Other members of his family (one by the name Salim) recived similar appointments for Mexico in the area.
Any ideas ?!
