Isaac was his fathers name. I have found 2 people arriving at Ellis Island that could be him. Khalil Isaac arriving in 1900and Kalil Isaac arriving in 1893. These are the names recorded on the Ships Manifests. However I can find no record of either name in the US 1900 or 1910 Census Records. I understand yourarabic translation of the name Isaac but as the name on the Ships Manifests are recorded as Isaac I am making a presumption that would have been the name used when they were processed through Ellis island. However I am very open to the possiblilty that he was given a different name on arrival in the US. He was of the Fakhri Tribe, house of Abraham, so it ma ybe that he took a name like Fackoury or a derivative spellingof Fakhri. There is also the possiblity that he returned to Lebanon or travelled on to another country to settle. Cheers & thank you for your interest.
