My grandfather and grandmother, parents of my father, came from Lebanon to Brazil in the 10's or 20's. I am trying to get the doubled citzenship (brazilian and lebanese), and the Embassy of Lebanon in Brazil said that I need my grandfather's Lebanese Civil Number that I suppose to be a sort of ID. I don't have this number and I don't know how to get it, since I lost the contact with the relatives in Lebanon.
My Grandfather's name is YOUSSEF MELHEM BITTAR and his father's name is MELHEM BITTAR and his mother's name is Cherrina. my grandfather Youssef Melhem Bittar married Salima Saab just before leave Lebanon. They were living in Ras Baalbek when they left Lebanon, but I'm not sure they were born in Ras Baalbek or in Baalbek. I know also that two of my granduncles stayed in Lebanon. The youngest is Moussy Melhem Bittar that stayed in Ras Baalbeck the other was injuried in a war battle and he lost his legs movement... his name is Irahim Melhem Bittar.. I think. ANds Ibrahim died long time ago. (I'm not sure that Ibrahim and Moussy's midle name is Melhem but I think so, since they are sons of Melhem Bittar). We lost contact with Moussy in the 1970's approximately, when he asked us to pass to his name some lands that my grandfather and his brothers inherited from their father. Since then he never wrote to us again. Now, he should be 80 to 90 years old, but I think he already died. With my grandfather, came some granduncles: Antoun Bittar, Ibrahim Bittar etc and they settled some cities in Brazil, called:
Santos Dumont (former Eubank da Camara) Merces Juiz de Fora
Those above are names of three cities they settled.
I NEED THE LEBANESE REGISTRATION CIVIL NUMBER OF MY GRANDFATHER, SO I CAN PROCEED WITH MY DOUBLE CITZENCHIP.
So, please, I really want need this information and I don't know how to have it... If you find something, let me know.
I'll be waiting for an answer, no matter if positive or negative.
