I have never done any research in Mexico and am badly hampered with no Spanish.
I am looking for a couple with a very rare family name - KLUCKAUF.
I have scoured the Internet and have come up with almost nothing!
Dr Walter Zdenek KLUCKAUF ( born 1895, elsewhere 1902!in Hamburg ) son of Adolf Kluckauf(1858 - 1936) a well known entomologist in his days, and his wife Josephine nee HULKA or HORSHOWSKA(born 1903 in Slovakia ) both Drs o Law and a further economics related Phd from Columbia Universitytravelled the word between 1935 and 1969.I have more than 40 border crossings found on ancestry.com in countries as varied as USA (Texas and NY), Switzerland, Canada (Quebec)
In 1938 they had Czech nationality.
In 1946 they were resident in Mexico
1947 Address: paseo de la Reforma 334 Mexicoelsewhere Paso del Norte, El Paso, Texas Paso Del Norte Children’s Development Center
1950's several departures from "Puerto Mexico D F, Mexico "( is DF significant?)
It is likely that they died in Mexico City between 1964 and 1968
How can I find any record of the lives and deaths of this couple in Mexico please?
