Thanks for your response. I have obtained some info regarding the family in Nicaragua. My grandfather was Manuel Jose Quintana. This allows for the origin belonging to the families within Spain. I believe in the area of Catalunia. Manuel Jose Quintana, the poet, was tutor to Queen Isabella II. (That was my birth name as well). My grandmother was an Orozco. They left Holland during WWII and migrated to Nicaragua.My parents were born in Leon respectively. I understand we are cousins to the Somoza family. Now, my mother's family name is Roman. You may know Jaime Roman Wheelock. ( One of the defunct Commandantes). He is my cousin. I was born in the US and have had only marginal contact of the old Managua. I would visit during summer months from 1962-1968. My last visit was in 1968. I was 12. Thanks again and hopefully we may find a common thread. here.
