We had to spend quite some time tracking this family line earlier and I think the earlier thread should be shared so that no one wastes time duplicating the searches already done. http://genforum.genealogy.com/norway/messages/17029.htmlhttp://genforum.genealogy.com/norway/messages/17029.html
Norway has a tradition of publishing history and genealogy books for many rural districts of the country called 'bygdebøker'. There appear to be two different published history/genealogy works for Skedsmo in Akershus. You could look for those books and check to see if more modern information was included.(At least one of those book series has been copied to microfilm and you could order that through the LDS FamilySearch catalog online.) Learn about 'bygdebøker' (http://homepages.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~norway/bygdebok.html) Bygdebøker and Ættarbøker can be helpful but are definitely secondary sources of information -- any research done in them should be verified in the primary sources such as the parish church records.
