ARCHIVE The present archive materialconsists of correspondence and shipping documents from the years 1810-1811. The ships participated in the lisence traffic to England in these years, and Julius Friederici stayedin Leith to take care of business there. The papers apply substantially four ships: Die Einigkeit, a resident of Flensburg, skipper Peter Petersen Bøndstrup, ship Tvende Brødre, skipper Hans Otzen, ship Johanna Maria, a resident of Wismar, skipper Asmus Asmussen and ship Maria, Captain Abraham Bugge. The first two ships were upset by the English kaperfrigatten Tartar in September 1810, the last two vessels crashed and was taken to Leith in 1810.

The archive may be selected by one of the largest business archives in the National Archives. It appears from the records that the cases Friederici had business in Norway - also in Trondheim. One of the ships concerned, Einiggkeit, going by ship papers to Trondheim with corn in summer 1811. By Trondheim toll book for 1811 shows that brigship Enigheden from Flensburg came to the city 10 July, led by skipper Mathias K. Lundgreen. The papers in the present archive mentions constantly Peter Bøndstrup as skipper of this ship.
