Not sure what happened to Lillie, Wallace Morris Forkey's sister. In the first post I mentioned a Lillie Forkey who was licensed to marry a Walter Adamski for 3 years before the marriage took place.I searched the 1910 census looking for Lillie Forkey but was unable to find. But when I searched for Walter Adamski I found them both. They were living in Duluth, Minnesota in 1910 as a married couple. The biographical detail of her listing matches her information in the 1900 census (her approximate age, birthplace and her parents' birthplaces).Walter was sometimes known as Adamski and sometimes Adam or Adams. He dies in 1937 and is buried near his parents in the Polish Catholic Cemetery in Duluth, labelled as "son" not as "son and husband" which you might expect.Even though they'd been together for 10 years by the 1920 census, they apparently did not have children.I haven't found them in the 1930 census, nor Lillie alone in the 1940 census, so not exactly sure what happened.A search of the headstone transcriptions at the www.usgenweb.com page for Douglas County, Wisconsin for Lillie Forkey or Lillie Adamski/Adamsky or Adam/Adams did not find her. Unfortunately I can't supply a link to the actual image of the 1910 or 1920 census listing.

Still have not found a marriage record for Wallace Forkey and Mary _____.But have located them in the 1895 Minnesota state census living in East Grand Forks. The census was taken before your father Walter Morris Forkey was born so he doesnot appear. The transcription index has Forkey spelled as Firkey & Fiskey which obscured who they are:

In the actual 1895 census listing, Wallace sr is listed as having lived in the state for 10 years. It's also unclear what happened to his first wife and their children. It's a bit of a mystery why the move to Massachusetts where Lillie was born.Did he have relatives there? There are a large number of Forkey mentions in the Springfield newspaper at www.genealogybank.com...
And I found one more listing for Wallace in the Bemidji Pioneer at Chronicling America:
