I noticed you are researching families in Coclé and Panama City - I too, am researching the Angulo & Mendez (not the famous ones or at least I haven't found a connection yet)families as follows:
Ricardo Angulo b. 1824 Bogota, Cundinamarca, Colombia married Berenice Mendez (1827) abt 1847 in Bogota. Their children: Isabel, Pancho Francisco, Ricardo, & Joseph Maria.
Joseph Maria Angulo b. 1847 Bogota married Teresa de Jesus Paredes (1860-1933)1866 in Panama City. They had 2 daughters, Isabel & Ana and lived in Coclé and Panama City. Joseph (suppose to be high ranking officer) died 1895. Teresa then married Andres Villareal.
Ana T. Angulo (1888-1988) married Benson E. Lee 1912 Ancon, after 5 children were born to them and his employment with the Canal was over they all (her sister * brother in law, her mother, and their children) immigrated to Arizona (1921). My mother Della E. Lee was born in Mesa, Az & died in Alaska.
