As we discussed Tuesday 9/17/13, My Wife, Christine E (Klein), and I, are Dorothy Kolodychak (Cody) Klein My Sister-in-law, has asked me to research her Gerlach and Kolodychak Family names so she can view her Polish Heritage.
William arrived in Brooklyn, NY around 1929 and began working for the Cross Austin and Ireland lumber Yard.
Francine (Francis) Gerlach was living in Chicago, Cook County, Illonois,in 1935.
Some how they met each other and were Married in Brooklyn, Kings County, NY, on 7/14/1937.
Next, William at the age of 34, in 1943, became a Nationalized Citizen and changed his name from Kolodychak to Cody which he and Francis died under.
In short I welcome a reply from anyone - ( Gary > email@example.com)who can provide me information on the following:
1) What were the names of William and Frances Mother (Maiden)and Father? 2) What town/village/city did the parents live in 3) Were their any siblings who also migrated with them to the US and if so who were they? 4) Did the Parents Migrate with their Children to the US?If yes what Ship and year did the arrive and what was the name of the ship they traveled on?
Again I welcome any information that will help me identify who their Parents were and where they came from.
