"On 10 days from the Month of August 1829, I baptized, me F. Domingos da Conceição and put the holy oils, on Diocleciano, legitimate son of Lucas Fernandes das Neves, and of Maria da Encarnação das Neves, this one from Barcoiço, e this one from de parish of S. Julião, from Figueira, paternal grandson of Joze Fernandes das Neves Malheiro and of Anna Francisca das Neves, "concelho" (county ?) from Ançã, and maternal grandson of ?? Joze dos Santos and of Anna da Encarnação from V.a (short of Vila, small town) from Figueira, were godfather and godmather, Francisco Luis Affonso da Costa, from Figueira, and Maria Guilhermina, sister of the baptized, (cant read 3 words), being vicar father Thomaz de Aquino. " I couldn´t read 4 words, I dont think they are important. Barcoiço is written today as Barcouço and belongs to Ançã. By 1829 Barcouço (Barcoiço) was a very small "concelho" county? in 1834 integrated in Ançã. It is located a little North of Coimbra.
