I am working on Portuagal Genealogy deeply than before.I am fimiliar with my ancestors' lines now.If they are related to you, please drop me e mail.Thank you.
Here is Antonio Francisco Escobar who was married with Jennie Silva in around 1888.They are my late great grandparents who lived in Costa Contra County, San Alamos,CA, San Luis Obispo, CA, and San Francisco County. They had ten children: Nora,b.1889, Nora,b.1890, Mamie,b.1891, Anthony Frank,b. 1893, Louis Albert,b.1894,Henry Allousis, b.1895, Ira Ernest(my grandfather),b.1897, William Ernest, b.1899, Clarence Patrick, b. 1900, and Katherine,b.1902.
Jennie Silva had two sisters, Mary and Emma. Mary was married with Joseph Davis. They had nine children, but six of them died. One was Evangeline Silva Blaine, Leonard Davis and Mary Davis(married with Lemuel Miner). Blaine was passed away at aged 44 in 1950. Leonard Davis died, too, but no information.Mary Miner passed away in June, 1921 in San Jose.Miner had no children.I have no idea if there are descendents alive rest after them.
Emma died young. No information.Jennie, Mary and Emma were born in San Francisco early 1860 to 1870. Their parents are Antone Silva and Amelia( no maiden name available). It may be very difficult to get birth records of them in San Francisco because the records were destroyed by fire and earthquake in 1906.I really need Amelia's last name somewhere.
Most of them lived north part of CA.Surely, they moved a lot around.I am keeping to dig in well than before. It is tough, but it is worth try.If you have an idea or help or relation, please drop me line.
Most of them were Portuaguese and Spanish. My great grandmother Jennie spoke two Languages fluently in 1900's.
