From the looks of it, the surname of the Polish counts you are looking for is Tarnowski in Polish. This family bears one of the most illustrious names within the noble clan bearing the proclamatio-arms (herb) Leliwa. There are many items in Polish on this family. One of Poland's greatest genealogists, W. Dworzaczek, undertook extensive research into the Tarnowski family's history and genealogy before World War II when their archives were still intact. The resulting publication is entitled (in translation) "The Leliwan Tarnowskis" if memory serves.

In this same forum, I have posted messages about my own less high-ranking Zurowski family whose surname has become Jurovschi in Romanian. Zurowski (with a dotted initial Z) is also a name listed among the membership of the noble Clan Leliwa (hence my email address).
Hope you find things more easily now that you have the Polish spelling of the name.
