2.Ellis Island -- no.Went to Toronto first, then came into the US in 1916 (US census) to Detroit, MI, then settled in Flint by 1920(the family says).By 1930 he was naturalized, so I will try to get his papers.I think this is probably the best clue.
3.He died in 1935, before Social Security was in place, leaving a wife Gravyluk; Garvyluk; Garvyluki? and six children to raise alone!
4.The family attended a Greek Orthodox Church in Flint.I'm waiting for a call back from them about possible info at the church/cemetery level.
