I've been researching the Batie line through Mary Robson Batie, daughter of George (born 18 Apr 1837 in London Twp., Middlesex Co., Ont. and passed away on 4 Jun 1914 in Overton, Dawson Co., Nebraska) & Ann (nee Bonus)Batie born on 30 Aug 1838 and passed away on 28 Oct 1868 in Lancaster, Grant Co., Wisconsin.Their daughter Mary was born about 1869 in Praire Du Chien, Wisconsin, USA and passed away on 17 Jul 1941 in Tacoma, Pierce, Washington, USA.
Their daughter Mary Robson Batie married August L. Sealoff on 9 October 1897.August was born in Germany in 1866 and died on 5 June 1935 in Klamath Falls, Klamath County, Oregon, USA.)
August & Mary then moved to Colorado where their two daughters, Minnie Betty Elizabeth and Georgia Lena Sealoff were born (Georgia never married or had any children).
By 1910 the August Sealoff family was found living in Clarkston, Asotin County, Washington according to the Federal Census records. That's where Minnie married my husband's grandfather, Lloyd Alva Boyer on the 19 of July 1916 in Clarkston, WA.They were separated/divorced by the 1920 Federal Census. They had three children all born in Clarkston, WA: Cleda Elizabeth 31 May 1917 and passed away in 1960 in Klamath Falls, Klamath, Oregon, USA.Lloyd & Minnie also had twins: Margaret and her brother Everett Elvin Boyer.Margaret died at birth and I have the information from the Lewiston Daily Tribune that tells about her birth and death and her parents and grandparents.Nothing has been found about Everett other than his birth record.
Today I spoke with Howard Batie on the phone and he told me that he passed all of his Batie family tree information to you and is no longer doing genealogy studies. He gave me the Edmond, Oklahoma address you gave him a few years ago, but I just found your posting here and would very much like to get any Batie and Sealoff information you might have.Look forward to hearing from you when you have some time.
