I'm searching information about the family of José Barcons and Justa de Aresti (both were born between 1864-1870) in Spain. I suppose they were married when they emigrated from Catalonia (Spain) to Argentina.
In the census of Buenos Aires (1985) they appear registered: José Barcons (Spanish),married, 29 years old; Justa Aresti (Spanish), married, 30 years old; Antonia Aresti (I imagine Justa'sister) (Spanish), single, 25 years old. And there also appears their children: Héctor (3 years), Ester (2 years) and Zelmira (1 year).
This couple had more children, all born in Argentina: Zelmeka Barcons (born in 1898) Zulema Barcons (born in 1900) Horace Barcons (born in 1900) Raquel Julia Barcons (born 11th April 1905 or 1906)
Zelmeka, Zulema, Horace and Raquel Julia emigrated to New York the 1919.
Zelmeka and Zulema were painters, I think.
Horace married a girl called Apollonia (born in 1904 at New York, descendant from German immigrants).
If anyone could give me more information I'd be very grateful.
