Thank you again, Nils. I agree with your assessment but was hoping that the word "Andersson" was actually "enka". The Nils I have been tracking was named Nils Olofsson, from Rya, Lindesberg. His father was Olof Thomasson, also from Rya. Nils's wife was named Helena Persdotter, although she was also know as Elin Persdotter. I have identified six children, including one named Olof, born in Rya and christened June 29, 1659, who would have been 43 years old on February 15, 1709, not 42, as the death record indicates. I really believe this death record refers to the family I have been tracking, but have no idea where the "Andersson" came from. Any comments?
