Did you ever get answers re. Johan Andersson? It's hard to know, when so many people post the same query all over the internet. Ignore the following if this question is resolved.
First, here's an earlier post by you.
"The Johan Andersson I am looking for ... was born January 27, l847, in Malmback parish of Sweden near Jonkoping. In l863 he moved to Oggestrop and then left for America and Chicago in l867.
"The last the family heard of him was just before the great fire in Chicago in l871. The family thought he might have died in the fire but we understand no Swedes died in the Great Chicago fire of l871.
"I spent last weekend looking up the membership records of Emmanuel Lutheran in Chicago at the Lutheran archives but did not find him. He was Lutheran, I am convinced, but may have come into contact with Swedish Methodist, Free or Covenant or Baptist."
I love how you shared part of your search process in that post.
From that post, written years ago, I can see you have truly wanted to find out about Johan Andersson. Last time you got help in this forum, you didn't show your genuine care, because you didn't return to read the research and thank the researchers. I know it's just an oversight, could happen to anyone. You might want to address that somehow, though. (Maybe a new query saying "I'll return daily to check messages during the coming week" or something like that. That would reassure me if I were one of the previous researchers.)
Also consider adding a family line for Johan Andersson. You seem to know who his parents are, and thus a volunteer researcher can't relish the idea of spending two hours researching something you already know but didn't "share." . Each drop of information you add about this person can help a researcher to answer your question, and every drop you don't add, the researcher will try to add. So yes, the parents (and siblings and etc) are relevant.
I am wishing you well and hoping you already have the answer - or you will find it.
