If you are seriously looking for living relatives in Sweden, you need to go where most of the Swedes post. That is the Anbytarforum board. You need to register but registration instructions are in English as well as Swedish. There is no cost at the moment.

Also consider using DISBYT. You can search as a guest but if you want to see contact information, there is an annual fee of $15, I think, to become a member. For even better information, submit a GEDCOM file. They will send you a different password so you will be able to see the individuals in "family trees". (Always contact the researcher, who is most likely a relative of some sort and also who probably has more information than DISBYT shows.

The Swenson Center is in Rock Island (near Iowa), not in Rockford (near Chicago).
