Technically Poland had not existed as a geopolitical entity for the previous 125+ yrs.Post WW2Ternopil region became a part of Ukraine SSR under Soviet domain until 1991, when Ukraine became independent.

Jezierzany > Buczacz was both powiat and gmina > Tarnapolregion- filial Jewish Kahal in Barysz
Jezierzany > Borszcsow was both powiat and gmina > Tarnapol region - filial Jewiah Kahal in Borszczow
There are appx half dozen this-same-name villages (some w/slight variation)in Tarnopil and Ivano-Frankivska regions.I am 99.99% sure the village in Zboriv county is the one you need to research for metrykal data.
PS>What I did notice is the Memorial link lists Gottlieb, not Gottfried surname ???
