Lorry - My grandmother was from the same village - Nebyliw. She emigrated to Alberta in 1913. Her name was Tychkowsky, and Ivan Pylipiw and Wasyl Eleniak who were the first two from Nebyliw to come to Canada to look things over, well they both had a maternal grandmother with the surname Tychkowsky. My grandparents were married in 1913 and moved shortly after to Edmonton, Alberta, one of their neighbors was a John Panisko of whom I have a photograph. EIther the Paniskos were relatives of my grandmother or very close friends from the village. It may be that John's wife was a relative of my grandmother as well. I have the LDS church records on permanent loan. there aren't to many Panisko entries but there are some. Unfortunately the records only cover 1835-1865 so I don't have my grandmother's parent's names. In the 1906 Alberta census John Panisko, 40 is living in Edmonton with wife Maggie, 34 and 6 children - John, Mike, Annie, Maria,Minnie or Winnie(?) and Maggie.
