Was the William Williams you mentioned the son of John L. Williams? If so do you knowh the name of his mother? I suspect he was son of John's first wife but need your confirmation. The father of John L Williams b. 1831 was William Williams, b. 1805. Son of John Williams and Ann Davis. William Williams m. Alice Parry d/o John Parry and his wife Margaret Jones of Groesffordd (a 35 acre farmstead located a short distance west of Llanrhaeadr in Llewsog Parish)
William, b. 1805 was b.on a small farm, Waen Fechan, near Llanfair-talhaiarn.
William was found guilty of poaching on 15 March 1833 and sentenced to 14 years transportation. He arrived in Hobart, VDL in November 1833 and spent most of his remaining life in AU.He returned to Denbigh about 1881 and d. 1890 after Alice d. and bragged about his family in AU.He is buried at Pentre Saron. So far I have not found his AU family.
