Looking for information on the following relatives:
Peter Beaudrie (or Beaudry, great-great-grandfather),born about June 1874 somewhere in MN, parents born in Canada, possibly French Canadian. Peter arrived in Alaska around February 1898 and he worked as a logger. He died from drowning on or about February 14, 1937 near Petersburg, Alaska.
Jenny Williams (great-great-grandmother), wife of Peter Beaudrie, could also be known as Jenny (Jennie or Genie) Romero. Related to the Bill Spooner family. Jenny's family is originally from Sitka, but she moved to Wrangell which is where my great-grandmother was born. Jenny was high-born Tlingit, Eagle, possibly of the Wolf House in Sitka. Possibly related to a McGibbon family that did some homesteading in the Wrangell area?
Elizabeth McKane, also known as Elizabeth Beaudrie, daughter of Jenny Williams and Mike McKane, step-daughter of Peter Beaudrie. Elizabeth was married to a man named Richardson. They had a son named Bud Richardson. Elizabeth disappeared, would like to solve the mystery of what happened to her. She is not listed as an heir of Peter Beaudry on his Probate Record from 1937 (Olive & George both are listed) so will assume she disappeared previous to Peter’s drowning?
Olive Anastasia Beaudrie (great-grandmother), daughter of Jenny Williams and Mike McKane, step-daughter of Peter Beaudrie. I have information for my great-grandmother, but anything additional would be appreciated.
George U. Beaudrie, born April 15, 2002 in Wrangell, died November 04, 1954 in Saxman, Alaska. Son of Peter and Jenny. Looking for any information on George. He was married at one time, but do not know name of his wife. No children that we know of.
