While I don't know of these McCay's I can enlighten you as to the probable reason they would be in Wrangell. I live in Petersburg which with Wrangell makes up the Wrangell-Petersburg Census Area (kind of like a county for you lower 48 people). Wrangell like Petersburg is on a small island & our major industries have always been timber & fishing.Since your relatives were in Wrangell they were probably engaged in logging (Petersburg is more fishing). Do you know if they were still here in 1920?I have the 1920 census for Southeast Alaska, so if you would like I could do a "look up" for you. (I also have 1910 & 1900).
