I don't know if you live here in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia or whether you lived here 10 - 15 years ago, but I have vague recollections of seeing a program completely dedicated to the Princess Sophia wreck on television during this time period.I cannot remember whether it was aired on the CBC station in Vancouver, or whether it was on CHEK TV in Victoria.I think it was an half hour program, but it might have been an hour long.Do you know anything about this?

My great-grandfather's name appears in the list of passengers that appears in "Personality Ships Of British Columbia", your grandfather's name appears there too.I think they spelled it correctly in this book.They also indicate the occupations of the victims that are listed.I wonder whether there is any way that I could photocopy the pages of this book that apply to the Sophia and mail them to you (I'm kind of new to this internet thing and have no idea of how to go about it).As I have stated, the book has been out of print for a long time.I have seen copies available in zShops at amazon.com but they are very expensive.Some of these copies seem to be at used book stores in Victoria.

Is there a specific article on the Sophia in "The Yukon Story", or is the information on the Sophia scattered throughout the pages of the book?

I'm not sure whether we even have any pictures of my great-grandfather.People didn't take many pictures back then unless they were quite wealthy.(I quess that leaves my family out.)

Is there someone that I can write or contact in order to get a copy of the brochure of the memorial held in Dawson City?It would be nice to add this to my collection of articles.
