Velma Rae Hurtt Gaddy, a homemaker, died Sunday at her home. She was 94.
A native and resident of Thomasville, she was a member of Midway Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of nearly 74 years, Norman Clyde Gaddy of Thomasville; three sons, James Clyde Gaddy of Thomasville, Raymond Wayne Gaddy of Hoover and Harold Leon Gaddy of New Albany, Ind.; three daughters, Norma Carol Goodwin of Millbrook, Ala., Brenda Ruth Reynolds of Mobile and Barbara Lynn Bowden of Saraland; one sister, Clara V. Bowles of Prichard; 15 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral at Midway Baptist Church. Burial will be in Midway Baptist Church Cemetery in Thomasville. O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home in Thomasville is handling arrangements.
