Mrs. Alice Dingler Williamson, 77, died Thursday (Nov. 3, 2005) in Plant City, FL after an extended illness. She is a native of Clay County, AL, but she had lived in Waycross over 50 years. She was a waitress at the City Cafe and other restaurants and a member of Waring Community Church. She will be sorely missed by her friends and community. She is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Robert Julius Williamson; and a son, Jimmy Lee Poole. Survivors include a son, Gaines B. Poole of Lakeland, FL; a daughter, Barbara P. Wilson of Waycross; six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren; ten nieces and nephews, and a multitude of great and great great nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Monday (Nov. 7, 2005) at Oakland Cemetery.
