Hi All, need help with this line of Grimes , Does anyone have info on this line, ?? in my file , i have a John F.( John Felix) b ca 1868, and James Franklin married to the same person , same kids etc. ?? **Info for Children taken from the Enterprise Obit in the Montgomery news paper, 12/1/1943. Grimes, James Franklin, 68 retired farmer of Coffee Springs,died in an Enterprise hospital Tuesday following a 10-day illness. Surviving are his widow: two sons, Dr Dewey Grimes of Miami, Fla., and Dr. Ohman Grimes, of Gadsden: two daughters, Mrs Eula Haley, of Gadsden, and Mrs Childs, Montgomery, and several grandchildren. Funeral was held from Coffee Springs Methodist ChurchWednesday afternoon with his son-in-law, the Rev. Childs of Montgomery and Rev. White, pastor,officiating. Burial was in the local cemetery, Searcy in charge.
