Red Bay, Ala. – Paul Fancher Sr., 67, died Friday, Sept. 9, 2011, at his residence. He was a mechanic for Wrangler for 27 years and also worked for Red Bay Water and Gas. After he semi-retired he continued to work part time for City Auto in Red Bay. He was a member of Golden Central Baptist Church.
Services were Sept. 11 at Deaton Funeral Home chapel with burial in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Deaton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Survivors included his wife Joyce Fancher of Red Bay; one son, Jerry Paul Fancher (Charlene) of Red Bay; two grandchildren, Grant Fancher of Mooreville and Gretchen Fancher of Red Bay; several cousins, friends and relatives particularly Ronnie Joe Williams and Brenda Hutcheson.
He was preceded in death by his parents Vuel Grant and Virginia Elizabeth Boyd Fancher.
