I think we might be related. My grandmother was a Whitehead, her mother was Sarah Ann Sanders, whose father was Sion Sanders, whose father was Dr Sion B Sanders. The Dr died of cholera attending a stricken community at St Joseph, La when he was migrating to Texas in 1836. He died and he told his family to go back whence they came, his wife got as far as Attala Co, MS and ran out of steam and the family settled.
I have the Whitehead, Sanders family tree and it includes Revolutionary War Solder John Tubb, and his daughter Karen Happuck Tubb.
My paternal side, the Farrar's, migrated to Perry Co between 1817 and 1830 from Ga. They homesteaded land in Township 18 R 8 and 9 and Township 15, Range 8, and Township 20 Range 9.
In fact there is a Farrer cemetery in the middle of George Farrar's homestead up in the hills, near a geographical site named Osborn in T 20R 9. Ihave the full geographical coordinates including it's proximity to County Road 32, and would hope to find someone who could check out the cemetery for any markings. It should have the remains of Thomas, Henry, George, Judith, Salley Farrar amongst others.
You appear to live in the area, would you know anyone who would be up for a Sunday exploration? My direct ancestor Thomas Farrar lived about two or 3 miles from the Ocmulgee Baptist Church in Section 15 T 18 R 9, just north and east of Suttle.
