From Pickens County Alabama Cemetery Records published in 1983, Dr. J. M. Quinn is indeed buried in the Mineral Springs Cemetery. He was born in 1822 and died10/25/1894. His wife was Nannie J. Quinn, born 4/4/1848, died 5/21/1890.Also buried at Mineral Springs is James A. Quinn, son of Dr. J.M. and Nannie, born February 1, 1876 and died January 16, 1892.Mineral Springs is in McShan, Alabama, some 13 miles to the west of Reform, Alabama. It is easily reached--there is a sign indicating the turn off of U.S. Highway 82.Buried at Tabernacle Cemetery, near the Mississippi state line on Alabama State Road #74 is Dr. Charles H. Quinn, born March 14, 1868, died February 9, 1898 and his wife, Clemmie Duncan, daughter of W. L. Duncan and Francis Brock Duncan.She was born December 23,1851 and died October 27, 1919. Her parents are buried in the same cemetery.I have more information on the Quinn family and in fact, have been in contact with a member of the family.It will take me a few minutes to locate the information, but I will be glad to share it with you.
