Am reseaching Samuel Kennedy, born about 1805, in South Carolina; and married Martha Jones, born about 1822, in Georgia.

Who were his parents, and where in South Carolina was he born? The family was in St. Clair County and Shelby County, Alabama, in the 1850s and 1860s, and at least one of the sons emigrated to Jasper County, MS. Did Samuel die and was he buried in Shelby County?
