Note on the 1830 census there is a female 40/50 this could be Sarah Harris Grimes wife of Nathan Grimes b ca 1784 NC, if she was b 1781 MD. than in 1830 she would have been 49, Nathan age 46 not on the 1830 census, could the family have left Ga. to go to Al, and the father was still in Ga. Selling land in Stewart Co., Ga. ca 1832 ?? or Nathan was just not marked on the census?? Did not find Nathan & Sarah in the 1850 Wash. Co., Al census does anyone have a census for them for 1850 ? they are listed in the 1860 census. Wm H. & Elizabeth are not listed in the 1840 census either, they both married in 1841. Thanks for any updates or corrections on this line Has anyone have parents for this Nathan ? I have put him as a possible son of Wm & Bedy Newson Grimes of Wake Co., NC, Wm was a brother of Dawson Grimes who was in Wash. Co., before 1808.
