She was the wife of Joseph B. -- I believe he was my 2nd cousin, once removed.I'll have to see if i can get a copy of the obit.
As far as Thompson "line"?Last i looked (www.placesnamed.com), Thompson was the 17th most common name in America. My gg-grandparents Thompson/Gerry came out of Chenango county NY around 1844 with baby daughter Georgiemma, traveled across northern Ohio with stops in Milan (son Charles Randolph born) and Toledo (son James Thaddeus born, my g-gaffer).Left Toledo to live with Georgiemma & family in Wahoo NE, 1883.Gg-gammer died there in a DUI incident (1883) -- carriage she was riding in was over-run by a team that had gotten away from a drunk driver.Gg-gaffer died in Wahoo, 1899.Thanks to a VERY nice lady in the Wahoo area, i have much info from there, including gravestone photos.Son Charles R. moved through Colorado to California, had quite a few descendants.A few years ago, I met online a 3rd cousin from his line.I'd never heard of her family, nor had she heard of mine -- but the traditional names had been carried down through the generations. My branch of the family stayed in the Toledo OH area, until the Army sent me to Saint Louis, a few decades ago.
Laubenthal info is MUCH easier to come by -- believe there are only about 3 lines, on this side of the pond.
