Ashley Lovett, being the only one of the three brothers to survive the war, was born Dec 5 1835 Winston Co, Al. He married Nancy Elizabeth Dickerson on Aug 5 1866 Marion Co, Al. and had the following children: William A born June 1 1867; Alfred born Dec 13, 1868; Frances M born Jan 31 1873; Andrew J. born Nov 26, 1874; Martha E born Mar 10 1877; James H born Feb 16 1879; Horace A born Feb 16 1879; Fountain Erasus born Sept 19 1883; Sarah Rebecca born Sept 10 1866(the year of birth on Sarah Rebecca could be incorrect); Louida born Apr 19 1890; George Washington born Aug 16 1892. After the war Ashley farmed in Winston County where he died in Haleyville on Aug 19 1918, have been married for over 50 years. His wife Nancy died Aug 31 1934. Both are buired Liberty Grove Missionary Bapt Church.
