From the marriage license..Henry Phillips of Pocola Choctaw Nation I.T. age 25 married Eva Coleman of Pocola Choctaw Nation I.T. age 16 Dec 15 1900..Eva was daughter of Eliplit & Mary (Denny) Coleman (this I know for sure)..Henry & Eva had 3 children
Mary Elizabeth born Nov 9 1902
Myrtle Maeborn Aug 1 1904(my GrandMother)
Nathan Mcbrennerborn Sept 10 1906
Henry died March 6 1910 and is buried in Steephill Cemetary Oklahoma..In is obit from the news paper it said he was from Cedar Switch..There's as far as I can find no such place..
I do know Henry did have a sister her name was Annie and she married Thamer Perkins my GrandMother said she'd lived with them for awhile as Eva about 5 years or so later married William Newman and they had 3 more children..William died in 1930..
I also know Henry's Mother's name was Mary and she died Dec 24 1905 also buried in Steephill..But I and several cousin who've been looking for Henry's family Never find a Father listed... My GG-GrandMother Eva had a good scence of humor, both of her husbands are buried side by side at Steephill and she's buried 15 miles away with her family, now what that means none of us know???
For the life of me I can't find the paper I wrote George W. Phillips on,it was a census I know sometime around 1880 or so...Do you have a Henry W? Diana
