Note:Marie was my father's niece, therefore a first cousin of mine.Marie's Lamb grandparents are buried at Corning, Arkansas. They were Thomas Grant Lamb and Sarah Elizabeth Taylor Lamb. The Lamb's had moved to area after Grant Lamb returned home from the Spanish American War in 1898.In the 1900 and 1910 census, though, they are counted in the Missouri county of Ripley.Success was near the state line.Eventually, Grant Lamb became a Baptist preacher and the family moved to Knobel, where the Chappells also lived.
