Are you still looking for information on John B. Arant?
I think his father was Aaron Arant and his mother was Eliza (Ham) Arant.I will email the 1900 census to you.You will see three Arant families clustered together in Civil District 25, Weakley County, TN.
I really think Eathel/Ethel King Arant's maiden name was not King.According to the 1930 census, her marriage to John Byrd Arant was her second marriage. On the 1920 census, Greene County, Arkansas, I found an Ethel King married to Irvin/Ervin King and they had a son named Morris. This is the same son, I think that shows up as Maurice Arant (with Ethel and John B. Arant) on the 1930 Greene County census.
It would be a good idea to send Eathel/Ethel Arant's death certificate and also her obituary.
According to a RootsWeb gedcom, John Byrd Arant was married to A Dular/Dulah (Taylor) Pickett about 1919.If you do a search for Dular Taylor on Rootsweb, you will see some of John Byrd Arants marriages listed.
The marriages for John Byrd Arant, I THINK:
1900:wife is Hattie/Mattie, Apr 1891 TN (per census) 1910:wife is Elmer/Elmore b. ca. 1888 AL (per census) WWI Draft Registration: lists Ada Elmore Arant as nearest relative on 12 Sep 1919 1919:Dulah (Taylor) Picket (per RootsWeb gedcom) 1920:Annie L.
