i was born and raised in blytheville ark. in 1934. i can remember when tomato was washed out to the mississippi. the grave yards were all washed up, coffins were floatin down the river. dont remember too many people from mater , i was born and raised with 11 brothers and sisters in west end blythe, which was also called the old chicago mill row. i just saw in the blytheville courier where the westend is no mor, all boarded up and grown up with trees even growin in the houses. i think the city is tryin to clean it up. there was many homes there when i was growin up and very good neighbors, all gone along with thier homes. i took a ride thru there with one of my older sisters this past fall, i had to cry at the sight, here we r all eleven still livin, the oldest is 90 and the youngest is 62, but our childhood homes r all gone, such a waste, does anyone know what happened there, we have all been gone from there as we grew older and moved out of state, but our fond memories r still there. god bless u all, vinny
