John, I'm very interested in your Taylor family. I'm in the process of researching and writing a series on the 1900 Hunt Township, Scott County Census for the Scott County Historical Society. One of the families is the William M. Taylor Family.
The data I show differs from yours slightly. I am most interested in discussing this family with you.
I found William and Elizabeth buried at Hunt Cemetery and have photo's of their tombstone. Elizabeth's stone gives these dates: 1850 - 1929. William's stone: W.M. Taylor May 1, 1848 - January 29, 1926. (If you want digital copies of their stones - email me and I will be happy to forward.)
There is a John W. Taylor that I have speculated is their son: March 3, 1873 - September 29, 1912. Also buried at Hunt is Myrtle Taylor, daughter of J. W. and Bee Taylor August 23, 1909 - August 23, 1910. (Her stone is difficult to read so these dates may not be correct.)
I show Emma Bee Pool and John W. Taylor marriage record as: Taylor, J. W. 28 of Blue Ball to Bee Pool 18 of Olio on December 22, 1901. Page 68 - Scott County Marriage Book C.
I would like to find out more about John's parents and siblings. Also, I have been unable to find out where Emma died or when. Any help you could provide would be most appreciated.
