PETER JACOBSEN PETERSEN, arrived in CA in 1883 from Denmark. With him were his wife, ANNA MARIA PETERSEN (her maiden name also), and their 2 children, Peter John and Amalia ("Molly.") They lived in San Leandro until 1886 and then Oakland, Alameda Co. He owned a small saloon on East 14th St.
Son Peter John married Lillie Violet Gribble in 1902 at the Union Street Church, Oakland. They had 2 daughters, Violet Elizabeth and Anne Augusta.
Daughter Amalia ("Molly") married Henry Snowbelt. They had at least 2 children, Amy and Peter John. Amalia and these 2 children are buried at San Lorenzo Cemetery.
PETER JACOBSEN died 1891 and ANNA MARIA died 1928 and are buried at the San Lorenzo Cemetery, Plot #506.
