Seeking information regarding Mrs. Herbert Hunt (née Freeman) an Alameda County (Oakland) resident in 1936.Her parents were Sherwood A. and Amelia Marie Freeman who farmed in Fanny Township, Polk County, MN (near Crookston) ca. 1883 – ca. 1913.
Six children in this family in addition to daughter Mrs. Herbert Hunt included sons Leslie Freeman (8 Jul 1877 – 11 Feb 1936, d. in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Can.) and W.M. Freeman, also a Winnipeg resident in 1936, plus three other daughters identified as follows:Mrs. S. J. Goodwin (Winnipeg resident in 1936), Mrs. Etta Ross (resident in Fargo, ND in 1936) and Mrs. Delia Bain (also a Fargo resident in 1936).All six children undoubtedly were Polk County residents on their parents’ homestead in Fanny Township,1883 – ca. 1913 or earlier.
