I am looking for descendents of the Peters family who lived in San Francisco and Oakland from the 1850s and into the 1900s. The first generation of the family was seaship captain William Peters (b. 1799- d. 1885) who was married to Cicely Silver (b. c1805). Their children were William Bonaventure Peters (b. c1830, d. 1875) who married Margaret Major, Cicely Francis Peters who married Leonard Boarman, Joseph Chrisostom Peters (b. 1839 to 1843, d. after 1925) who married Alice Cain, Arthur Silver Peters, (b. 1845 or 1848, d. after 1928) who married Agnes (?). William B. Peters and Margaret's children were Jack Peters (b. 1857?, d. 1944), William J. Peters (b. 1863 or 1865) who married Sarah E. Joyce, and Cecile Peters Sieberlich (b. 1872?) who was married to Edward H. Sieberlich. Leonard Boarman and Cicely Frances Peters Boarman had at least one child, John F. Boarman, (b.1873) who was an architect/contractor. Joseph Chrysostom Peters and Alice Cain Peters had many children: Mabel (Mary?) A Peters (b. 1872), Albert Edward Peters (b. 1873, d. 1953), Anita M. Peters (b. 1875), Walter Leo (leo Walter?) Peters (b. 1876), Jessie Peters (b. 1878), Dora B. Peters (b.1878), Ralph (Bernard) Peters (b. 1881, d.1953), Paul J. Peters (b.1883, d. 1943), Lily A. Peters (b.1885, d. 1968), and Lenora J. Peters (b. 1890). Arthur Silver Peters and Agnes had 4(?) children: a son, Niren Peters (b. 1874), Florence Peters (b. 1875), a daughter (Margaret?) (b. 1882), Nellie (b. 1885). William J. Peters and Sarah E. Joyce Peters had at least 5 chlidren: a son (b. 1881), a son (b. 1884) a daughter (b. 1885), a son, Charles B. Peters (b. 1886, d. 1981), and a son (b. 1888). Any information would be helpful.
