SF Call, 2/4/1899 Death of Mrs. George Miller ALAMEDA, Feb 3--Mrs. Isadore Roselett Miller, wife of George R. Miller of the Pacific Coast Oil Works, died this afternoon at the family residence, 2110 Santa Clara Ave, after a prolonged illness. She was a native of New York, aged 50 years and 27 days. She has resided in Alameda for nearly 20 years. Deceased leaves 4 dau, 2 sons- Mrs. J. H. Masterson, Mabel, Edith, Ethel, George, and Elwood Miller. The funeral will be held next Sunday and the interment will be at Mt View Cem.
SF Call, 2/6/1899 MISS MILLER LAID TO REST ALAMEDA, Feb 5--The funeral of the late Mrs. Isadore R. Miller took place this afternoon from the family residence, 2110 Santa Clara Ave. The services were conducted by Rev. E. P. Dennett of the First M. E. Church and Rev. C. E. Rich of the Santa Clara M. E. Church, deceased having been a member of both institutions. A large number of friends and acquaintences followed the remains to the grave. The floral offerings were numerous and of many handsome and appropriate designs.

ALAMEDA, Jan 31--The funeral of George R. Miller, a former city trustee, will be held tomorrow from the Miller residence, 2110 Santa Clara Avenue. Services at the house will be conducted by Rev. Willsie M. Martin of the 1st Episcopal Church and at the grave at Mt. View Cem. by Joe Hooker post G. A. R. of this city, of which the veteran was a psst commander.
SF Call 1/10/1906 abstracted Mrs. Mary Sullivan accused Elwood Miller of beating her and stealing 2 gold rings. He has been repeatedly in trouble with the authorities and has once been asked to leave town. Mrs. Sullivan is also known to the police and was the subject of a pistol row between her then-husband (now separated) and a deputy game warden.
SF Call 1/16/1910 A bandit held up Adam Craft's saloon at Glascock and Park Ave, and was wounded by the bar keeper, S. E. Swenson, a deputy sheriff. The robber entered the saloon which was occupied by Swensen and Elwood Miller. Swenson gave him $5 in change, Miller was asked if he had any money, to which the reply was no. The bandit left, and Swenson chased him and shot at him. Swenson is sure that he hit the bandit with his first shot.
SF Call 8/19/1910 abstracted Constable Al Kihn involved in a fight with Elwood Miller and received a swollen-shut black eye. Elwood ordered to leave the city or face jail.
SF Call 9/20/1910 abstracted Elwood Miller arrested after a fight with William Gardner, and since he had been ordered to leave the city several weeks earlier, was remanded to county jail to serve his original sentence.
